Call for Papers

Papers submissions are open to all educators, research professionals, and corporate e-Learning practitioners worldwide. Select papers may be eligible for presentation at the conference.

All papers should be based on the themes noted on the Website and provide a basis for promoting quality dialogue at the conference.

Paper Submissions

Timeline

  • An abstract of your proposed paper must be submitted by October 1, 2005.
  • All final papers submissions must be received by October 15, 2005.

General

  • The paper should be relevant for one or more of the themes.
  • It must be original work and please cite all references used in your paper.
  • The paper should not be shorter than 2000 words. You may submit your paper as a Word attachment in an email to: econf@hct.ac.ae

Format

  • Papers must be written in English.
  • All papers should be formatted for A4 or letter size.
  • Use a concise title, which indicates the content of the paper. Type the author's name in capitals followed by the sponsoring organization/ university under the title.
  • Use a 12-point font and Times Roman or Times New Roman typeface.
  • Please save the document as RTF (Rich Text Format).

Evaluation

All submitted papers will be refereed by an international quality body prior to inclusion in the proceedings.

Criteria

Some of the criteria for evaluating papers will consider the following:

  • Ensuring Quality Process in e-Learning.
  • Best practice in e-Learning.
  • Examination of the changing organization of learning environments in universities and higher education institutions.
  • Intercultural approaches to e-Learning.
  • International content or applicability.
  • All approved papers will be included in the conference proceedings.
