is Deputy Chairman and Managing Director of Zensar Technologies Limited,
a Global Software Services firm that provides Consulting and Software
services across eighteen countries.
Ganesh has been one of the most successful professionals in the Indian
Information Technology Industry,
having earlier been part of two major success stories in IT Training and
Consulting, NIIT and APTECH. In his ten year stint as CEO of Aptech, he
grew the company’s revenues over fifty times and listed it on the
Indian and London Stock Exchanges. Ganesh presented the Aptech success
story at the Asian Productivity Organisation’s conference in Thailand
and was named CEO fo the year by the Asia Pacific HR Forum in 1998. He
received the Wisitex Foundation’s CEO of the Decade – Knowledge
award from India’s minister of Information Technology in 1999.
A Gold Medallist in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering,
Ganesh has had extensive experience in Manufacturing, Consulting and
Training and is the author of two McGraw Hill Books on Business Process
Reengineering and one on Knowledge Management. He was the Chairman of
CII’s Maharashtra Council for 2002-03 .
Ganesh is the current Chairman of CII’s National Outsourcing Conclave
and Chairman of the CII Forum of IT and IT Enabled Services CEOs for
Western India. He is also a Charter member of TiE, a member of
NASSCOM’s Executive Council for 2003-05 and Chairman of the SME Forum
of NASSCOM for Western India.

Prof. Atta-ur-Rahman obtained his Ph.D. from Cambridge University (1968) and was later appointed as Don at Kings College, Cambridge (1969-1973). He was awarded the prestigious degree of Doctor of Science (Sc.D.) by the Cambridge University (UK) in 1987.
Prof. Atta-ur-Rahman has written or edited 67 books the majority of which have been published in Europe, USA and Japan. He has also published 60 chapters in books and 479 research papers in leading international scientific journals. 62 students have completed Ph.D. degrees under his supervision. The Government of Pakistan has conferred four civil awards on him, Tamgha-i-Imtiaz, Sitara-i-Imtiaz, Hilal-i-Imtiaz, and the highest National Civil Award, Nishan-i-Imtiaz. He is fellow of Pakistan Academy of Sciences, Islamic Academy of Sciences and Third World Academy of Sciences.
Prof. Atta-ur-Rahman is the first scientist from the Islamic World to have received the prestigious UNESCO Science Prize (1999) in the 30-year-old history of the award. He has secured numerous other national and international prizes and awards including the Kuwait Foundation for Advancement of Science Prize (1988), ECO Prize (2000), ISESCO Prize (2001), the First Prize at the 6th Khwarizmi Festival by the President of Iran (1993), and the Federation of Asian Chemical Societies Award (Hiroshima, Japan, 1997).
Presently, Prof. Atta-ur-Rahman is the Editor-in-Chief / Executive Editor of five international journals: Natural Product Research (U.K), Current Medicinal Chemistry (U.S.A), Current Pharmaceutical Design (U.S.A.), Current Organic Chemistry (U.S.A.), and Mini-Reviews in Medicinal Chemistry (Netherlands). He is also the Editor of an encyclopedic series of books on natural product chemistry, “Studies in Natural Product Chemistry”, 28 volumes of which have been published under his Editorship during the last 12 years by Elsevier Science in the Netherlands. He is the Director of H.E.J. Research Institute of Chemistry, Karachi University and the Coordinator General of COMSTECH, an OIC Ministerial Committee comprising the 57 Ministers of Science & Technology from 57 OIC member countries.
Prof. Atta-ur-Rahman was the Federal Minister for Science and Technology (14th March, 2000- 20 November 2002). Presently he is the Chairman of the Higher Education Commission with the status of a Federal Minister and Adviser to the Prime Minister on (Science and Technology) and Minister-in-Charge of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
Miles Shepherd

Miles Shepherd has been involved with the management of projects for more than 30 years, first with the British Army and latterly with AEA Technology where he is a Senior Project Manager.
A long-standing member of the Association for Project Management, he was elected Chairman in 2001 and became President of the International Project Management Association in 2003. He lectures on project management for the Open University in the United Kingdom, USA and Eastern Europe. He is a research supervisor with interests centring on the project manager as a professional. He has acted as an industry specialist in project management for the validation of postgraduate programmes at Bournemouth University and is an examiner in Project Management for the British Computer Society’s Information System Examinations Board.
He has chaired conferences on many project and IT related topics such as e-project management, the development of project management as a profession, the management of Government IT Projects and project management for the Public Sector. He is an assessor for the German Project Management Association’s Excellence in Project Management Awards. His spare time interests are vintage motoring and hill walking.

Dr. Victoria Franchetti Haynes
Dr. Victoria Franchetti Haynes is President of RTI International, an independent scientific organization dedicated to conducting innovative, multidisciplinary research that improves the human condition. Working for clients in government, industry, academia, and public service throughout the United States and abroad, RTI provides research and technical services in health and pharmaceuticals, survey and statistics, economic and social development, advanced technology, environmental protection and education and training.
Prior to joining RTI, Dr. Haynes held various positions as a research administrator and executive with international companies BF Goodrich and Monsanto. She holds degrees in chemistry and teaching from the University of California at Berkeley and Boston University, and she conducted postdoctoral research at Purdue University.
Dr. Haynes serves on the boards of two corporations, as well as a variety of economic development boards, including the Utah State University Research Foundation Board. She also serves on the evaluation committee for The National Medal of Technology.

Dr.
Richard Straub
Since beginning of 2002, Dr. Richard Straub has the role of Director
of e-Learning Solutions IBM Europe, Middle-East and Africa. The
mission of this role is to leverage the IBM portfolio and partner
offerings to provide leading edge e-learning solutions to education
institutions and government bodies. In this capacity Mr. Straub's
organization is working closely with the academic sector, school
authorities, media companies and publishers as well as government
bodies and the European Commission.
Before taking this role Mr. Straub had the global responsibility for developing and implementing a learning strategy for one of the major global IBM Units with
60,000 employees word-wide. This role of a Learning Officer included the management and optimization of the Group's investment in skills and learning. In addition he oversaw the groups management development programs.
Mr. Straub is Chairman of the European e-Learning Industry Group and founding Chairman of the Career Space Consortium. The e-Learning Industry Group is a newly formed body of major e-learning industry players such as Vivendi Universal, Nokia, Cisco, Intel, IBM and others. It's objective is to accelerate the adoption of e-learning in Europe in cooperation with the European Commission and the national Governments.
Mr. Straub is lecturing International Management, Knowledge Management and Organizational Learning on executive MBA programs and speaker on numerous international conferences.

He is a frequent keynote speaker on topics related to leadership.

He has worked with hundreds of organizations in North America, Australia, Singapore, and the Middle East, including Accenture, Hewlett-Packard, Monsanto, Amoco Oil, Citibank, Jacksonville Electric, Fluke Corporation, Compaq, NASA, the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Air Force, and Xerox.
Don Tanner received his bachelor's degree in business administration with a specialty in finance. After several years in the banking and insurance industry, he became a senior financial consultant with an investment advisory firm doing business in the Western United States. During this time he taught for five years at the University of Southern California and Loma Linda University in their departments of continuing education on topics related to the investment industry. He also helped establish and finance several businesses in a variety of industries, from international trade to biomedical research.
Don lives in Bountiful, Utah with his wife, Kris, and their four children. Some of his interests include golfing, skiing, reading, teaching, gardening, watching old movies, and eating airline food.

Nigel
Banister, Executive Director
Nigel Banister is
responsible for global sales and marketing for UK eUniversities which is
the UK Government’s high profile initiative to deliver UK Higher
Education from all UK universities on line both in the UK and
internationally. Nigel joined UKeU from Informatics Holdings Ltd - a
Singapore listed company and one of the world’s largest education
companies outside the US. Nigel was a main Board Director and Managing
Director of Informatics Europe which comprised six European based
companies. He built up Informatics’ activities in Higher Education,
professional training and testing with customers in 35 countries to
represent around one third of Informatics global revenues.
Prior to this Nigel has over 20 years experience in the IT services
industry in technical, marketing and general management positions. As a
qualified stockbroker and Managing Director of fully listed NMW
Computers plc Nigel was in the forefront of introducing electronic
trading to the UK finance sector. He also spent a period as CEO of the
UK National Computing Centre.
Nigel served as a Director of UK Government organisations including
Training & Enterprise Councils, the Association of Research and
Technology Organisations and as an elected Council Member of the UK
Computing Software and Services Association. Nigel has also served as a
Director of Salem International University (US). He is a Non-Executive
Director of both Blackwell Publishers and Rapra Technology.

Dr. Raymond
Ravaglia, Stanford University
Raymond Ravaglia is the Deputy Director and co-founder of the Education
Program for Gifted Youth (EPGY) at Stanford University. EPGY is an
ongoing research project at Stanford developing and offering E-learning
courses to advanced pre-college students through the United States and
in over thirty foreign countries. Since its inception in 1992, EPGY's
annual enrolment has grown from 25 students in 4 courses to over 10,000
students in over 50 courses. During this time EPGY has gained
international recognition for excellence, and has been the recipient of
the Centra Pioneer Award and is a Computerworld Smithsonian Innovation
in Information Technology Laureate.
Raymond
Ravaglia has been a regular presenter at major education and technology
conferences, including SIGGRAPH and ICTCM, was a principal speaker at
EDNET99, the premier conference on Educational Technology and
Telecommunications Markets. He has consulted for a number of e-learning
companies, he has served as an external grant reviewer for the US
Department of Education, and sits on the board of directors of the North
American Council for Online Learning.
He received BA and MA degrees from Stanford in Philosophy.

Gary P. Fazzino

Gary Fazzino was named Hewlett-Packard's Vice President of Government and Public Affairs in May 2000. In this capacity, Gary is responsible for working with HP managers worldwide and with state and federal legislators, other government officials and industry associations and non-governmental organizations on public policy and community affairs activities affecting the interests of HP.
Gary has held a number of positions at HP since joining the company in 1977, including Northwest Public Affairs manager, State Government Affairs manager, and most recently, Director of Federal Public Policy in Washington, DC. Prior to joining HP, Gary served as Assistant to the City Manager of Palo Alto, California, and program manager at the Bay Area Council.
From 1996-1998, Gary served as the first president of the Technology Network, a national public policy and political organization representing the high-technology sector.
In January 1999, Gary became Mayor of Palo Alto for the second time. He previously served as mayor in 1992. Gary has been elected to the Palo Alto City Council five times.Gary also served as chairman of the Santa Clara County Transportation Authority from 1992 to 1995. He is a former president of the Junior Statesmen Foundation and former chairman of the American Electronic Association’s State Government Affairs Committee. He has also served on the boards of the Palo Alto Area YMCA, the Palo Alto Education Foundation, and the Palo Alto Senior Coordinating Council.
Gary holds a B.A. degree in Religious Studies from Stanford University, a M.A. degree in Public Policy from Occidental College, and a M.B.A. from the University of Washington. He was also a CORO Foundation Fellow in Public Affairs and is a graduate of the American Leadership Forum/Silicon Valley.
Brian G. Lindquist, Ph.D.
Dr.
Lindquist is Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs and the Dean
of the College of Graduate Business and Management for the University of
Phoenix. In this capacity
he is responsible for the design and management of curriculum for the
Masters in Business Administration and Master of Arts in Organizational
Management programs. He has
also served as the Vice President and Campus Director of the University
of Phoenix campuses in New Mexico.
Prior to his experience at the University of Phoenix, Dr. Lindquist was
the Division Head of Business and Professional Studies at Santa Fe
Community College where he designed and developed several programs to
meet the emerging professional needs in northern New Mexico communities.
He began his career as a corporate economist at Eastman Kodak,
forecasting macroeconomic variables for both domestic and international
applications. He was also
the Director of Financial Planning for the Graphic Imaging Systems
Division at Eastman Kodak, then a billion-dollar multi-national business
unit with manufacturing and marketing operations in dozens of countries.
Dr. Lindquist earned his Ph.D. in economics from Purdue University in
1973, his masters in economics from Purdue University in 1971, and his
Bachelor of Arts in international studies from Miami University in 1969.

Curtis J. Bonk, Ph.D., CPA
Curt
Bonk received
his master’s and Ph.D. degrees in educational psychology from the
University of Wisconsin. He
is now Professor in the Departments of Counseling and Educational
Psychology as well as Instructional Systems Technology at Indiana
University (IU). He is also a
core member of the Center for Research on Learning and Technology at IU
and is affiliated with both the Informatics and Cognitive Science
Programs. For the past four
years he has been a Senior Research Fellow with the Army Research
Institute.
Dr. Bonk received the Burton Gorman teaching award in 1999, the Wilbert
Hites Mentoring Award in 2000 (first recipient), and the CyberStar award
from the Indiana Information Technology Association in 2002. In April
2003, he received an award from
the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA) for
the Most Outstanding Achievement
by an Individual in Higher Education as well as an award from the Indiana
Partnership for Statewide Education (IPSE) for Innovative Teaching in a
Distance Education Program.
Dr. Bonk has extensively published journal articles and book chapters on
online teaching and e-learning especially as it relates to online
pedagogy, electronic collaboration, motivation, future e-learning trends,
and assessment and evaluation. Dr.
Bonk has presented his ideas at hundreds of state, national, and
international conferences and seminars and is in demand as a conference
keynote speaker. He founded
CourseShare in 1999.

Manoj
Kutty
Manoj Kutty set-up and heads Tata Interactive Systems’ business in N. America and Asia Pacific.
Manoj completed his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering and his MBA from leading schools in India. He joined TIS in 1993 and was a core member in setting up the company. He has overseen important positions across the firm and has helped define the company’s strategy and business. He was instrumental in setting up the firm’s international operations since 1998. Tata Interactive Systems today is a leading developer of custom learning content in the USA and UK.
In 2001 he developed the concept of SimBLs (simulation based learning objects), which has been recognized as a powerful next generation e-Learning tool.
Manoj has spoken on e-Learning and simulations technology for learning at several leading forums, tradeshows, radio and television.

Stanley B. Knight B.Ed., M.Ed., Ph.D.
Dr.
Knight is a USQ Adjunct Faculty Member and international education
consultant who designs and teaches programs related to Online
Education. He is a former USQ faculty member with teaching and
administrative experience at all levels in the educational enterprise.
In addition he served for several years on the Immigration and Refugee
Board of Canada as Assistant Deputy Chairman (Senior Immigration
Judge) for the Pacific Region. His current projects include the
development of the internet based Canadian English Language
Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP) for UBC and Canada Immigration and
follow up to the USQ / Aus Aid –Virtual Colombo Plan program on the
use of Online Education programs in developing countries. He has
served as an Education Consultant to 36.com in Hong Kong and with
Friends in the West, an international relief and development agency
(Africa).
His
community work has included service as President of the Vancouver
refugee Council, President of MOSAIC, a Vancouver immigrant and
refugee service agency and Executive Membership on the UBC Alumni
Association. He is on the
Australian Gateway Education Consulting Committee, is a Member of the
B.C. College of Teachers and serves on the Senate of the University of
British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada.
Naveed A. Malik
Naveed A. Malik, Sc.D. is currently the Rector of the Virtual University of Pakistan. Dr. Malik obtained his Master’s degree in Physics from the University of the Punjab, Pakistan and later the Doctor of Science degree from M.I.T. in the field of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
As a staff member at the University of the Punjab, Pakistan’s largest and oldest university, Dr. Malik established the Spark Source Mass Spectroscopy laboratory at the Centre for Solid State Physics and later, became the founder chairman of the Department of Computer Science. He has been associated with the Virtual University project from inception to launch. He is a life member of the Pakistan Institute of Physics.

Akram Yosri
Dr.
Akram Yosri is professor of Information Technology at New York
University’s Information Technologies Institute. Dr. Yosri’s
main expertise is in Innovation, Information Technology,
Globalization, and Economic Development.
He is also managing partner of 3i Capital Group, an investment
management and venture capital firm with offices in the United
States, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia. He is also founder and former
Chairman of the Board of BroadPoint Communications, a
telecommunications company in the United States. He was the
co-president of USAlert, a software company that pioneered Push
Technology and president of Orient Computer Corporation, a systems
integration firm from 1989 to 1994. He serves as a member of the
Board of Directors and advisor for high-tech companies. Dr. Yosri
has published numerous articles on technology and business in
prominent publications. His technology innovations earned his
companies nominations for the prestigious ComputerWorld Smithsonian
Award for Innovation in 1996 and 1998. Dr. Yosri is former candidate
for the United States Congress from the State of New Jersey. Dr.
Akram Yosri advises governments and world organizations on economic
and education issues and is a well-recognized speaker on technology
and economic issues worldwide.
In 2003, he chaired the 2nd Annual Economic Forum
in Dubai along with former US Vice President Albert Gore and spoke
at the 1st Annual Economic Forum along with former
National Security Advisor, Mr. Sandy Berger. Dr. Yosri spoke at over
