Under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Chancellor of the Higher Colleges of Technology this two-day conference consists of one full day of Academic paper presentations and panel discussions on the development and delivery of stimulating media rich Online curriculum for higher education. The opening address will be given by His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan to a maximum of 200 delegates gathered at Abu Dhabi Men’s College auditorium. The second conference day will center on corporate e-Learning including e-Learning platforms, knowledge management, interactive simulations, computer based training and more.

DAY 1

When: Sunday September 8,2002 from 8:30 to 5:00PM

Where: Abu Dhabi Men’s College, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Conference Objectives:

Ø      Bring together e-Learning professionals from around the world to present and discuss challenges to develop and deliver quality Online courses.

Ø      Provide a platform that will stimulate individual teachers and organizations to explore the unique learning possibilities that Online-learning present.

Ø      Present current trends and processes for ensuring sound, high quality pedagogically relevant development of Online courses for both language skills training and technical education.

Ø      Present the latest technological advances available for Online learning success.

Ø      Provide a forum for sharing the process an organization follows to develop an e-Learning culture that will be adopted by the employee.

All teaching faculty and educational management who would like to learn about or expand their knowledge of Online learning. Companies who are interested in e-learning systems, developing corporate Online training programs or who produce Online-training courses should also attend.

This day centers on Corporate e-Learning services and solutions for all employers in the UAE. The day will focus on what international e-Learning training experts have on offer including the latest technology, Online multimedia content development; computer based training and e-Learning portals. Training managers from Oil companies, armed forces, aviation industry, government departments, banks, hotels, hospitals and major private companies will be invited to attend.
